My client is a very well established and friendly practice based in Newton Abbot. Joining a supportive team on a 3 or 4 day per week basis, your responsibilities in this role will include:

• Personal and corporate tax compliance
• Tax planning and advisory work
• Year end accounts preparation
• Overseeing bookkeeping and VAT preparation
• Business advisory work, and advising your client on best practice with their accounting software

This role would suit a candidate with a strong all round background in accountancy practice, and a particular interest in the tax side of your role. ATT qualifications would be very highly regarded, but I am also seeking applications from candidates who are either AAT qualified or qualified by experience. You will need to be a strong communicator as the role will involve significant client contact, and you will need to be able to demonstrate the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with the wider team.
